| Summary | This project provides for the initial steps & detailed studies related to a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system in the County, supplementing the Metrorail Red Line, future Purple Line, and master-planned Corridor Cities Transitway. The potential future system includes 10 corridors, including Georgia Avenue North and South, New Hampshire Avenue, North Bethesda Transitway, Randolph Road, and University Boulevard. Projects that are already in the active planning, design, or construction phase are US 29, MD 355 North and South, and Veirs Mill Road.
